Marceline Dupont

Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Denis Dupont; her parents and 5 of her brothers and sisters.

Survived by her children Rick (Joan), Lise (Colin) and Susanne; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; as well as 2 siblings and extended family.

Born in Debden, Saskatchewan on Sept 17, 1937, Marceline followed her husband out to the coast in search of work. Denis started logging to support the family and Marceline dedicated herself to raising a family and being part of her community. Her joys included gardening - both flowers and vegetables, sewing, knitting. crocheting and upholstering furniture and boats. As a true praire person, she loved her cards - specifically crib. She also was an expert cake decorator and was responsible for many wedding cakes in Port Alberni. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she adored her family and doted on her grandchildren.

According to her wishes, no formal will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
