Melvin John Antoine

Melvin John Antoine was born September 20, 1976, and unexpectedly passed away on March 2, 2023.

Predeceased by Vera Thompson (Mother), Eugene Antoine (Father), Michelle Thompson (Sister), Dean Antoine (Brother), Linda Williams (Mom) and Jason Williams (Brother).

He is survived by his children, Dean, Brianna (Chase), Jade, Kyle, and his grandchildren, Ryder and Aubree, plus his siblings, Eugene “Chops” Antoine, Marlene Antoine (Stefan), Asma-na-hi Antoine, Gene Antoine (Amanda), Julia Mickey (Allan), and Patty Williams, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles.

Melvin was one in eight billion—a proud father, grandfather, cousin, and brother to many families and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 15th 2023 at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni. See below for service details.

Melvin will be cremated, and his ashes will rest with his mother, Vera Thompson, at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

For those unable to attend in person, the service will be broadcast via Zoom.
