Predeceased by son Larry as well as 6 siblings, Muff is survived by loving wife Pat; children Randy (Linda), Rick (Gail), Tim (Denise), Todd (Joan), Dan (Brenda) and Sharyl; as well as 27 grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Born on the prairies, Muff came to Port Alberni in 1951 to begin long shoring until his retirement in 1991. He met and married Pat in 1952 and they started their family. Muff was always a farmer at heart and that was mirrored in his hobby farm. The family worked hard and the children learned how to care for chickens, cows and pigs. Muff had a love for country music and loved dancing as well as tinkering with many different projects.
