Raised in rural Manitoba, Pauline later moved to Winnipeg in the mid-50’s. In 1956, she married the love of her life, Ray Sr. They moved to Port Alberni together in 1967, and they loved it there.
Pauline was an animal-loving woman, especially devoted to her dogs. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, sewing and knitting. She enjoyed visiting with her many friends. Special thanks to Ron and Lorelei, who lived with, and took care of Pauline over the past few years. Also thanks to the home care nurses who would check in on her.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Ray Sr., in 2016; her parents, Paul and Margaret; two sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Ray Jr. (Karen), as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
Pauline has been laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Port Alberni, BC, where a small graveside service has already taken place.
