Rick Donald Davies

Rick was a man of faith with the patience of a saint and quick to forgive. A hard working, humble, selfless, wonderful, loving and amazing man who was loyal and sincere and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was an honourable man who was gentle, compassionate, and generous, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family or in his garden and was always ready and willing to lend a hand whether it be for his family, friends or others in need. His sense of humour was unparalleled. He was very loved and cherished and will be deeply missed.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Marian, his children Ashley (Geoff), Melanie (Trevor), Chelsea (Eric), Brian, Jeff (Mandy) and Kristina. His grandchildren Jordan, Lauren, Zakeysha (Brentyn), Kane, Rain, Olivia, Skye, Summer, Gabe and Sage. His parents Lorne and Louise, brothers Mike (Donna), Rob (Bev), sister Michelle and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also his mother in law Kay, brother in law John and his faithful companions Zeus and Miley and grand companion Bandit.

A celebration of life will be held on September 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Henry Schade officiating at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home at 4005 Sixth Avenue, Port Alberni, B.C.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any donations made to the B.C. Cancer Agency in support of Melanoma Research in Rick's name.

Cremation has taken place.
