Rina Maria Iacuzzo Brandoli

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Rina Brandoli. Rina passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital with family by her side on Wednesday, March 30th 2011 at 79 years of age.

Predeceased by her husband Iago and her parents Guido and Emilia Iacuzzo, she is survived by her children Morena (Jim) and Alan (Susan), grandchildren: Daniel, Emilia, Aaron, David and Jeremy; brother Ado Iacuzzo (Amelia) and their children Sonia and Sandra as well as other cherished relatives and friends.

Rina enjoyed spending time with her many good friends from both the Italian and Canadian communities, but her greatest joy came from time spent and doing things with her family. She worked for many years at the West Coast General Hospital.

Rina was a very loving and caring person whose kindness, good humour and generousity was extended to all who knew her with joy, and without reservation.

Prayers will be offered on Thursday, April 7th at 7:30pm at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 8th at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Parish, 4731 Burke Rd., with Father Stephen Paine officiating. Cremation to follow.
