Tanis passed away suddenly in her home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Tanis was predeceased by her parents Fred and Marion Cook. She leaves behind her only beloved son, Michael (Michelle) Jones and her cherished granddaughter, Isla, her brother Trevor (Bev) Cooke, her nephews Travis, Tyler (Tammy), Bryce (Tanya), great nieces and nephews and Jack and Angel Benisky. We will miss Tanis's quirky sense of humour and generous and loving heart. Join us in a celebration of her life on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the Notre Dame Church Hall, 4731 Burke Road, Port Alberni. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
