William "Bill" Luchinski

Bill was predeceased by his daughter Karen (1997) and her husband Keith Rowland (2001), his parents Gregor and Emilia; brothers: Pete, Anton, John, George and Frank; sisters: Eva, Mary, Lena and Millie.

Bill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Catherine; his daughter Marla Peters (Jim); son Bill; granddaughter Alayna Peters; grandsons: Jesse Peters, Sean Rowland, Kevin Rowland (Chelsea) and Greg Rowland (Morgan); great grandchildren: Keiren, Kaydence and Drew as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill grew up and farmed on a homestead in Saskatchewan. He came to BC and worked as a faller at Sarita, Franklin and Cameron Divisions for 40 years. In retirement he spent many enjoyable hours working in his shop making cedar tables, chairs and planters. He could command a room with his humorous stories of which he had a limitless supply.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, following cremation, there will be no service. Stories and condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.chapelofmemories.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
