
Angelo M. Aulenti, 70, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. He was born September 29, 1938 in Stamford, CT. Angelo was a self-employed HVAC contractor who retired and moved to Port Charlotte from Norwalk, CT in 1999. He was a proud member of the 1951 World Championship Stamford Little League team, an honorary lifetime member of the St Ann Club in Norwalk, a member of the Port Charlotte Yacht Club, Elks Lodge 2606 and the Moose Lodge 2121. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia M. Spears Aulenti; daughters, Audrey Ken Gray, Teresa Aulenti, Sandra Ed Breden and Erica James Marasco; grandchildren, David Curtis, Crystal Breden, Jesse Breden, Michael Gray and Nicole Marasco; great grandchildren, Juliet Diff, Lucian Diff, Navin Jefferson and Jayla Curtis. The youngest of twelve children, Angelo is also survived by his brother, Vito Chickie Aulenti; sisters, Isabella Broder, Filomena Aulenti and Rosalyn Arena; many nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his parents, Joseph and Maria Toscano Aulenti, brothers, John, Anthony, Michael, Joseph and Dominick; sisters, Mary and Lillian.
The Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday, July 27, 2009 at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. A Reception will follow the service at the Port Charlotte Yacht Club, 22445 Glass Lane, Port Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in CT. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Society of St Vincent DePaul Friends of the Poor.
