Barbara Ann Edwards, 74, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away peacefully on April 14, 2016. She was born February 11, 1942 in Newark, NJ daughter of the late Clara and Joseph Goodman. She united in marriage to Robert Edwards in 1967. Barbara and Robert moved to Port Charlotte in 1989 from Toms River, NJ. Barbara worked for Sam’s Club in Port Charlotte as a Demo Coordinator.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Edwards of Garner, NC. One daughter and one son; Colleen Barnes of Port Charlotte and Brian Edwards of Garner, NC. One grandson, Brendan Edwards. One brother and one sister; Joseph Goodman and wife Patricia of Hartwell, GA and Lorraine Weinberger of Port Charlotte.
Barbara was predeceased in death by one daughter, Cheryl McCabe.
A Memorial Mass is planned to be held by the family in New Jersey at a later date.
