Carmen R. Murray

She lived a GREAT life filled with love, devotion and family. She and her husband, Gerald J. Murray (HEAVEN), married in CA in 1944. She and Jerry raised 6 successful children, Denny (WA), Cherie (FL), Shannon (KY), Kimberly (TX), Erin (Port Charlotte - HEAVEN) and Shawn (CA). Carmie had 13 grand children and 20 great-grand children. Local grand-children include Tracy Watkins, Michael Murray and Courtney Whipple.

Carmen attended Vocational High School in Minneapolis, where she was a cheerleader and synchronized swimmer. She went on to become a cosmetologist. After marriage and the Jerry's completion of military service, Carmie and Jerry moved to OR to work with the family in the logging business. They returned to MN in the late 40's to raise their family and to develop residential homes, Associated Homes, Inc. and Murray Enterprises. In the early 70's, the family moved to Key Biscayne, FL shifting their focus to larger scale development, Hemisphere Equity. Although Carmie was supportive and involved in the business, her primary focus was the family, until the move to Key Biscayne.

Carmie and Jerry relocated to Port Charlotte in the late 80's. They had a second home in AZ. They traveled extensively visiting their Murray clan.
