Carol Ann Lewis-Maherg

Carol Ann Lewis Maherg 28 passed away on Thursday January 23, 2014 in an automobile accident in the Arcadia/Wachula area. Carol was born on October 13, 1985 in Middletown NY. Carol's life revolved around her love of animals particularly to her passion for horses. She was presently enrolled in Valencia College in Orlando FL, working towards becoming a Veterinarian, recently she and her beloved horse Razz, who her mother has raised from a baby, had won two jumper divisions at a prestigious show in Wellington FL for which she was very proud. Carol was a very loving and caring person who always brightened the lives of those around her and was loved by many. Carol is survived by her adoring mother, Patricia Lewis of Punta Gorda Fl, father Robert Lewis of Pine Bush NY, brother Robert Lewis II of Punta Gorda Fl, grandmother Jean Benjamin of Punta Gorda Fl, fiancé Frank Emmi of Orlando Fl, and many aunts, uncles cousins and friend, in addition to her beloved horse Razz and her dog Roxy who was her constant loving companion. A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Friday January 31, 2014 at 5:00PM from the Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home 635 E. Marion Avenue Punta Gorda. Family and friends will gather from 4:00PM until the time of the service, after the service family will have a time of fellowship and refreshments in the celebration room.
