Deidra Dawn Setser

Deidra was the beloved daughter of Nancy Lee (Liston) Bosserdet and the late Robert E. Bosserdet. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Leah Ann Setser, and son, Tyler Lee Setser. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy, Wanda, and Stacey, her brother, Bob, as well as eight nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her niece, Christina Roberts.

Deidra graduated from Lockport Township High School in Lockport, Illinois, and went on to receive an Associate in Applied Science in Horticulture from Joliet Junior College, Joliet, Illinois, with specializations in Floral Design/Interior Plantscape Management in 2002, Nursery Management in 2002, and Landscape Management in 2003. She also attended Southern Technical College in Port Charlotte, Florida.

An active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Deidra held offices at local, district, and state levels. Her dedication to service extended to her church, which was a central part of her life alongside her children and work.

A service will be held at Port Charlotte Global Methodist Church, 21075 Quesada Avenue, Port Charlotte, Florida, on January 31, 2026, at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations benefiting Port Charlotte Global Methodist Church's rebuilding efforts would be greatly appreciated. Deidra was devoted to helping the church whenever and wherever she could, and it was a significant part of her life for many years.
