Doris E. Winand

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL - Doris E. (Klineyoung) Winand, 90, formerly of York, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. She was the wife of the late George T. Winand, Jr.

Born December 25, 1922 in Hopewell Twp., a daughter of the late Harry R. and Clara E. (Miller) Klineyoung, she retired from Dentsply Intl. in 1985 after 31 years of service. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church; Dentsply Intl. 25 year Club; Dentsco - Ed Club; Cultural Center of Charlotte Co., FL; and the Pennsylvania Club of Port Charlotte. Mrs. Winand had attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 8, 2013 at, Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Rev. David L. Ritterpuseh officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Monday, burial will in Susquehanna memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Winand is survived by a son, George T. Winand, III and wife Carol of Port Charlotte; three brothers, Harold M. Klineyoung, Donald E. Klineyoung, and Earl L. Klineyoung all of York; two sisters, Mildred E. Klineyoung and Frances E. Houston both of York. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tasya Lynne Winand; and a sister, Mary C. Klineyoung.
