Fred L. Soberay, 93 of Port Charlotte passed away on March 14, 2008. Fred was born on June 4, 1914 in Germany the son of Gottlieb and Pauliena Feicht Soberay. Fred worked as a artist/interior designer. He moved here in 1972 from Michigan and was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Port Charlotte. Fred is predeceased by his wife Margard in 2002 after 58 years of marriage. He is survived by: his sons; Detlef Ann of Hamburg, MN, Ralph Sheila of Port Charlotte, FL, Ronald Debra of Jacksonville, FL and Gary Colleen Anchorage, AK, and 6 grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel from 4 to 6 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Services will be at the Lutheran Church of the Cross of Port Charlotte at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
