Helen V. Miller 89, of Englewood, Florida died June 29, 2009 in Englewood. She was born October 18, 1919 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Ernest and Anna Livingston McElroy.
She moved to the Englewood area in 1973 with her husband Albert D. Miller from Shiremanstown, Pennsylvannia.
She was a retired employee of the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.
She was a member of the of the Fifth Street United Methodist Church in Harrisburg; the American Legion Post #0043 of Camp Hill; Capital City Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #146 of Harrisburg; N.A.R.F.E.
She is survived by her sister, Adelaide Karbolic of Englewood, Florida.
Funeral services and burial will be in Pennsylvania. Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
