She was bron on March 7, 1927 in Glenville, Georgia and came to this area from Miami, Fl. in 1977. Irene was a homemaker and was employed by charlotte County as a Van Driver. Irene attended Abundant Life Assembly of God church, in Punta Gorda, Fl.
She is survived by her husband, James M. Petterson Jr. of Punta Gorda, Fl. 3 sons, Don Miller and james Patterson both of Punta gorda, FL and Gary McNamara of Port Charlotte, Fl. 3 daughters, tonnie Broom and Linda Morrell both of Punta Gorda, Fl and christine McAllister of North Port, FLl 2 brothers, J.W. Albert of Punta Gorda, FL and Bobby Albert of Miami, Fl. 2 sisters, June and Estelle both of Ocala, Fl. 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 10:00 am until service time at 11:0 am at Kays-Pponger & Uselton Funeral Home. 635 E. Marion Ave. Punta Gorda, FL Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
