He was born on June 4, 1958 in Burlington, Vermont and came to this area from Old Orchard Beach, Maine in 1996. Mr. Buley was a school teacher and taught English at Port Charlotte high school and prior to Port Charlotte taught at L.A. Ainger Middle school in Englewood, Florida. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 until
1986 and attended Lakeside Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet E. Buley of Venice, Florida; 2 daughters, Allison Christopher Hagge and Katherine Buley both of Venice, Florida; step-daughter, Carmen Carrion of Venice, Florida; his 2 brothers, William Buley of Plattsburgh, New York and Thomas Jean Buley of Burlington, Vermont; 3 sisters, Mary Katherine Estey of Burlington, Vermont, Jane Buley of Salem, MA and Anne Buley of Burlington, Vermont.
Memorial services Monday, June 30, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Lakeside Lutheran Church 2401 South Tamiami Trail. Venice, Florida 34293. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to American Heart Association.
