Joan C. Harrington, 75, of Englewood, Florida, died November 11, 2007. She was born May 22, 1932 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to John and Matilda Scioscia Cere.
She moved to the Englewood area in 1993 from Metuchen, New Jersey. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and she had volunteered for many years in New Jersey and Florida for the Deborah Hospital Foundation.
She is survived by her sister, Janet Larry Haines of Edison, New Jersey and her nephew, David Stacey Haines of Edison, New Jersey and her twin niece and nephew Ryan and Ashley Haines of Edison, New Jersey.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel and funeral services will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
