He was born on November 27, 1938 in Patillas, Puerto Rico and came to Port Charlotte, Florida from New Haven, Connecticut 8 years ago. Mr. Burgos Sr. was a machine operator before his retirement. And of the Roman Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his son, Jose Burgos Jr. of Port Charlotte, Florida; his 2 daughters, Wanda Manuel Crespo of Port Charlotte, Florida and Nydia Mark Argentino of Port Charlotte, Florida; 4 sisters, Antonia Rodrigues of Brooklyn, New York, Lito Santiago and Andrea Santiago both of Florida, Carmen Santiago of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Visitation Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 Noon at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
