Well here we are, it's been 2 years already since we lost you and it still hurts today as much as it did then. Everyday I see things that remind me of you, I look at Nola and know you are watching over her.  There is just so many things I wish I could say or share with you, and I don't know when or if I will ever get over losing you so soon. I love you so much and miss you like crazy. You were the crazy glue that held us all together and we are all just lost without you. 

Hi gram I just was thinking about you and I want u to know that happens everyday.  It still feels like u left us just yesterday. I cant believe its been a year and three months already. I hope u r looking down on me now and are proud. I love u always n forever. Xxoo muahhhhhh:)

Well I woke up this morning and put up the rest of the flowers from your cake.  I hope you loved it as much as everyone else did. Aunt Karen, I miss you so much! I finally found you a tray to go with the wine glasses I made you, and this one I wouldn't have needed to paint it. I hate that you are gone, every where I go I see something and say Aunt Karen would love this, then I realize you are not here anymore and I put it back. This world just won't be the same without you.

Mom its almost time for your big Celebration. I feel sometimes like its a bad thing...it seems like after this I wont be able to hold you anymore. Things aren't quite going as planned but I promised you I would make sure it all worked out and it will! I love you with all my heart and miss you with every part of my being! I look around my house and see Karen everywhere.  Even after moving 700 miles away, I always valued her opinion when I painted a room or bought a new bedspread!  She never got the opportunity to visit me, but her presence will always be HUGE in my home!  Karen, you were a unique friend and I will miss you horribly!  We shared wonderful moments together where we laughed, cried, rejoiced and enjoyed life!  I love you, my friend!

Sheri & family, It's been 28 years since we graduated and I don't believe I ran into you once since. Regardless, I consider you a friend and my heart hurts for the pain I know you are in now. Your mom was always the young and hip mom and she was loved and respected by the kids at Sallie Jones and every adult she ever met. My family went thru this 6 months ago and I know there is nothing I can say that works like magic and can take the pain away. My precious Mom, words cannot express how much we are grieving since you left us. I can only say that the last month I spent each and every day with you was a blessing for me and meant so much. I miss you so much I cant even get up each morning with the thought of you not being a phone call away. You were in so much pain that I thank God for taking your hand and leading you away from your suffering.  You are forever in my heart as the best MOM ever!

Where did the time go? I remember spending many evenings at that ol house on Palm as a kid. Always a fond memory that resurfaced everytime we ran into one another.. I'll miss that. You were a tremendous influence on my life. I ll miss you.
