Kathleen Mary Feige

Kathleen Mary Feige, 66, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2017 at TideWell Hospice in Port Charlotte surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Edmund John Foy and late Mary Laura (Meade) Foy. Born on August 11, 1950 in Darby, PA. She attended St. Cyril's Catholic School in East Lansdowne, PA, and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School in Drexel Hill, PA. Wife of Gary R. Feige. They previously lived together in Quakertown and Ephrata, PA. Mother of eight children, Michael Vincent Putiri (Kelly), Carrie Anne Putiri-Smith (TJ), Amy Laura Putiri, Heather Hendershot (Scott), Adam Feige. Grandmother of Madison Smith, Gavin Smith, Jardon Marty, Peyton Marty, Carter Hendershot and Brynn Hendershot. Sister of Barbara Foy-Norcini (Jim), Maryanne Foy(Neal Bashor), Edmund Foy (Ruth), Bill Feige (Patty) and Gregg Feige (Rick). Aunt of Jenifer Bradley, Jessica Mulholland, Thomas Buonanno and Kevin Bashor. Kathy worked as a paralegal at Smoker and Gard Law Office in Leola, PA, and as a part-time front desk assistant at Nash Cataract in Punta Gorda, FL. A loving, humorous soul, Kathy was a selfless, wise, creative, caring, giving and strong woman; a warrior of life, a great listener, a comforting confident and a unknowing healer to all who loved her. She enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, shelling, beading, cooking and loving unconditionally. She will be greatly missed and remembered for all that is good in this world. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service that will be held at the First United Methodist Church located at 507 W Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL, at 11am on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathy's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital (stjude.org) or TideWell Hospice in Port Charlotte (tidewellhospice.org).
