Louis Juliano

Louis A. Juliano, 85, of Nokomis, FL passed away December 31, 2016. He was born June 21, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to this area in 1987 from North Babylon, NY. He served in the US Marine Corps and worked as a concrete truck driver for many years before retiring in 1975. He went on to partner with his brother Tony in a deli business which he retired from and moved to Florida. Locally, he worked as a Security Guard for the Oaks from 1988 till the mid 90's. Louis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Filomena Juliano; children, Louis (Saundra) Juliano; Laura Heinisch and Lisa Ridings; grandchildren, Sara Heinisch, Louis A., Alexandra and Nicholas Juliano; a sister, Carmela Juliano and sister-in-law, Angie Juliano.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm till 4:00pm and 6:00pm till 8:00 pm, Thursday January 5, 2017 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Friday January 6, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors to follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
