Mrs. Josephine G. Dell'Orto

Josephine was born on August 24th 1929 in New York City N.Y. where she later met and married Joseph Dell'Orto and lived in Astoria Queens, In 1958 Josephine moved to West Islip Long Island where she was a stay at home mom and homemaker and secretary for her late husband Joseph J. Dell'Orto Trucking Company

Josephine was also very active member in the Rosary Christian Mothers Society where she was very dedicated to her Catholic church Our Lady of Lourdes she also volunteered Her services at the Church Bingo games and the yearly Italian Feast

Josephine was also a Den mother for the Cub Scouts for which she had a Great Passion for as well as Bingo which anyone who knew Josephine can attest to.

January 1986 Josephine and her late husband Joseph retired and moved to Port Charlotte Fl where she continued to play Bingo, Boce Ball and Golf

Josephine had Four Favorite sayings "Never say Goodbye say so Long" "You have to be in it to Win it" " Click it or Ticket" "Don't spend it before you make it" and one more as the Boce Ball game Started she'd put both arms up and say"It's anybody's Game"

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J Dell'Orto she is survived by her daughter Doreen A Townsend (Gene) Two son's Daniel J Dell'Orto (Lois), Patrick M Dell'Orto (Michele) Nine Grandchildren, Nine Great grandchildren, one great great Grandson, one younger sister Beatrice Clark, one Sister-in-law Trudy Dell'Orto

The Family would like to thank the Doctor, Nurses, employees, and volunteers of The Englewood Tidewell Hospice House for making Josephines final 3 weeks very comfortable and peaceful
