
Norbert William Zoltowski, 77, of Rotonda West, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born in Detroit, MI to Norbert and Alice Zoltowski. He served in the Marine Reserves, graduated from University of Michigan in 1963 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1983 with a M.S. in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Kodak his entire career and worked on the first spy satellite program for the National Reconnaissance Organization. He retired to Rotonda West, FL in 1996 and moved to Florida in 1998 to be close to his parents. He was a member of the Rotonda Elks and Rotonda American Legion. Norbert was also heavily involved in the research and set-up of the Rotonda West canal program and was a pioneer in getting the weirs built.
He was preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Alice Zoltowski, brother Ron Zoltowski, and first wife Sherry Phipps Zoltowski. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Zoltowski, brothers Robert, James and Don (wife Carol) Zoltowski, sister-in-law Margie Zoltowski, sons Brian (wife Michelle) and Craig (wife Anna) Zoltowski, step-daughter Kelly Miller, step-son Mike (wife Heather) Wnuk, and grandchildren Zachery Miller, Ashley Zoltowski, Sophie Zoltowski, Lena Wnuk, Amelia Zoltowski, and Gabriella Zoltowski.
Memorial service will be at 11:00am on January 14, 2017 at Gulf Pines Memorial Park – 2401 Englewood Road, Englewood, FL 34223. You may express your condolences to the family at, www.lemonbayfh.com
