He was born on October 13, 1930 in Graniteville, Vermont to Alex and Annette Ducharme. He came to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1989 from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Normand was a CPA and retiring in 1996. He served in the US Navy from January 1951 until January of 1955. He attended Bryant College in Providence, Rhode Island where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1959.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Martin (Suzanne) Ducharme of South Boston, Massachusetts and Mark (Stacey) Ducharme of Mashpee, Massachusetts; his brother, Donald (Noela) Ducharme of Ashville, North Carolina and his sister, Doris Ducharme of Plaistow, New Hanpshire; his 2 granddaughters, Nicole Ducharme of Houston, Texas and Jessica Ducharme of New York, NY.
There will be celebration of life service on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p m. at Bimini Bay Club House 1051 Forrest Nelson Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida.
