Olive M. Pryce, 65, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born September 5, 1959, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Herman and Barbara Stephenson. She was a 1977 graduate of Charlotte High School. On June 20, 1982, she married Heraldo G. Pryce.
Olive worked as an administrative assistant at the Charlotte County School Board office for 20 years, where she tirelessly displayed her passion for education.
She is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Stephenson-Munroe, her children, Jennifer Cooks-Willis (Brandin), Jason Robinson, Michael, Melodee, Karen, Maria, Candie, Tarroll, Zoey, Zora and Zemee Pryce; her siblings, Christopher (Carla) Stephenson, Donna Stephenson Birch, David (Gina) Stephenson, and Lori Stephenson; and by 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Heraldo G. Pryce, her father, Herman Stephenson, and her daughter Karen Pryce. Olive will be sadly missed by extended relatives, friends, and co-workers.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Olive at the Port Charlotte Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 11 am.
