Patricia L. Oates 58, of Punta Gorda passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2011. Patricia was born on February 18th 1952. She was a wonderful mother,daughter,grandmother,niece and friend. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Ivan and Edna Ayers, and her grandson Timothy River Oates. She is survived by her three sons John R. Oates III and his fiance Sarah Poutney , Tim (Laura) Oates, Michael (Alicia) Oates, Grand kids Tyler, Alex, Chasity, Amber, Connor and Jase Oates. Her parents Melvin and Ethel Ayers, her aunt Arlene Johnson, and her two brothers Jim (Diane) Ayers, and Rick (Pam) Ayers.
Pat was a born again (Saved) Christian and is with our Lord. She worked for over 25 years with the school board of Charlotte County where she made many friends and touched many lives.
