Rita Lentulo Stabile, 88, of Rotonda West, Florida, passed away August 27, at Englewood Community Hospital. She was born, one of eight children, January 23, 1922 in Scarsdale, New York. She and her family lived in Yonkers, New York, until 1973 and South Nyak, New York until 1991, when they came to Florida.
Surviving are her husband of nearly 70 years, Daniel Stabile; daughters, Ollie-Mae DeStaso of St. Petersburg, Florida, Phyllis Fisher of Germantown, New York, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1st, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, 2 Buchans Landing, Englewood. She will be laid to rest at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
