Bob was a WWII veteran who served on a US navy fuel tanker in the Pacific.
After completing his enlistment, he returned to the Boston area, earning his certification as an electrician.
Bob and his wife Helen retired to Englewood in 1985. A lifelong fisherman, Bob loved the waterways of Lemon Bay.
A talented painter and piano player, he also enjoyed sharing his art and music with friends and family.
Above all, Bob has a talent for living. He was grateful for every day and made everyone in his life feel special.
He is survived by his son, Craig Manning, his daughter, Meredith Manning, daughter-in-law Joan Terry, and grandson Ian Manning.
