Robert R. Morrell, 46, of Punta Gorda, FL died Sept 22, 2009. He was born March 25, 1963 in Hodgkins, IL and moved to this area from there 25 years ago. He had worked as an Electrician for Nu Son Electricians. He served in the US Army and was active in Martial Arts. He had enjoyed volunteering at the Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary and the Animal Welfare League.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Morrell; his parents, Richard Betty Morrell and Theresa Asaro; son, Christopher, step-son, Randy, sons, Joshua and Bradley; daughter, Taylor; granddaughters, Chelsea and Brianna; a brother, Kenny Lapaka; sisters, Jackie Morrell, Wendy Shamrock and Krystal Hamilton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The family requests donations to the Animal Welfare League, 3519 Drance St, Pt Charlotte, FL 33980.
