September 28, 1945 - November 21, 2013
Simos (Sam) Loukas, 68, passed away Thursday, November 21st. 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. His Fiance' of 34 years by his side. His Sister and Brother-In-Law were in town to comfort him during his last few days.
Sam graduated from Old Saybrook CT High School. He was such a History Buff.
Sam served time in the National Guards.
He had Pizza restaurants in Connecticut before moving to Florida. Once he was in Sarasota, FL he opened HoneyCrust Pizza - where he was always called "Elvis". To this day many people only know him by that name.
Sam loved his cars. You never knew from day to day what kind of a vehicle he would be driving. He always watched NASCAR Racing. He also liked Boxing and the old western movies. Sam loved playing Pool at the Moose and at home; he was always trying to improve.
Sam is survived by his Fiance' Sharon Hagans, Maria & Demitri Dicos (Sister and Brother in Law)Also, he is survived by his brother, Emnanuel Loukas & several cousins and their families. Sam will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was a kind and gentle man.
