

Thomas E. Wills, 84, of Venice, FL passed away February 15, 2016. He was born February 8, 1932 in Shelton, Washington and moved to Venice in 1998 from St Michael’s, MD. He was also formerly of Chalfont, PA, where he spent the majority of his life. Mr. Wills was the Owner and Operator of Chalfont Hardware Store from 1972 till 1989. He was also the owner of Tommy’s Roundtable Tavern in Philadelphia, PA from 1962 thru 1979. He was very involved with numerous community organizations such as the Lions, Elks, Moose and the VFW Post 396. He was a Mason and was a member of the Shriner’s Lulu Temple in the Philadelphia area. Mr Wills was also a member of the US Power Squadron in Venice, FL and St Michael’s, MD as well as a member of the Miles River Yacht Club in St Michael’s.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Wills of Venice, FL; children, Lori (Gregory) Walker of Pittsburgh, PA and Christopher (Andrea) Wills of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Caroline, Allison, Meredith, Andrew and Connor Walker and Tara Wills.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:30am, Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL.
