He was born on June 2, 1952 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Clyde Cunningham and Ina Wortham. He came to Port Charlotte Florida from New Mexico in 1978. Tommy served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 110. He attended IPC in Punta Gorda, Florida as well as Sacred Heart and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He worked for Charlotte County for over 16 years, as an operator #2 in maintenance operations, also receiving the 20 gallon Blood Donors Award
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cunningham of Port Charlotte, Florida, his 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 brothers.
There will be a Celebration of his life held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Military Honors, at I.P.C. located at 4827 Fairway Drive North. Punta Gorda, Florida. Following the services everyone is invited for Pot Luck on the church grounds.
