William E. Norton

William Buddy Ernest Norton, 44, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 9, 2007 at the Tidewell Hospice House in Venice, FL. He was born July 7, 1962 in Pahokee, Florida and moved to Punta Gorda in 1969.

Survivors include his parents, Sylvia and Daniel Deese of Punta Gorda; son, Justin William Norton; brothers, James Deese of Orrville, OH; Rickey Deese of Inman, SC; Jim Smith and Pat Holland, both of Punta Gorda; sisters, Julie Holland and Dora Smith, both of Punta Gorda; Tara Deese of Orrville, OH and Cheryl Deese of Inman, SC; several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL with Pastors Dan Hurlburt and Jon Nyberg officiating.

Bud loved Pastor Dan and all his friends at the Church of God of Prophecy. He had and had made many friends through his walk with our Lord in this last year. Words cannot express our thanks to Gods angels on earth, the wonderful people of Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care in both Arcadia and Venice. Our family sends our love and appreciation for all you have given our family in this past year.
