Dear Edgar, Ashley & Derrick,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss. Thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers. We will always treasure the happy memories of Cathy with her gracious beautiful personality, her sense of adventure, her sunshiny smile, her cheeky humour right from primary school. We were blessed that she came back frequently to Fiji for holidays and to our high school reunions. May she rest in peace.

Love and hugs
Lai & Michael

Dear Edgar, Ashley, and Derrick,

Catherine was the first person I met and quickly became close friends with when I first started at SFU Advancement. She taught me everything I know so there would be no Donations team without her today. I looked forward to work everyday because of her, because she was such a wonderful, kind, bright, and a weird person like me. I loved our times hiking, laughing while working, and most of all, getting to know you through her as we bonded about each other families. Catherine and I always knew how to have fun. I still can't believe the person I laughed the most and hardest with is gone. I will miss her so so much, and everyday.

I share this photo of us during Christmas 2017. I want to offer my deepest condolences during this tough time to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Edgar and family,

I am so heartbroken to hear of Catherine’s death. I worked with her at SFU for over a decade and I always enjoyed our ‘water-cooler’ chats about travel, parenting, fitness and her fondness for her school pals from Fiji (and their fun reunions) and her immense pride in both of her kids. I will miss her very much.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts.

There are no words adequate enough to describe the loss. Catherine and many of us worked together for over 10 years at SFU and she was like a family member. The loss is felt sadly and sorely by all of us. She'll live on in our hearts forever!
