He is lovingly survived by his wife of nearly 51 years Gail, his children Kim Stark (Kevin), Michael Gillies (Jackie), and Cindy Gillies and his adored grandchildren Hannah and Makayla Stark and Hunter and Paxton Gillies.
Doug is predeceased by his parents Archie and Bernadette Gillies, his sister Marilyn and brother-in-law John Carroll.
A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Friday, July 28th, 11:00 a.m. at First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC. Lunch to follow.
