Gregory Kevin Brunette

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Kevin Brunette on the morning of February 17, 2023, at the age of 73.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Greg was the eldest son of Carl and Katherine Brunette. A self-confessed introvert who found company in books on spiritualism and mysticism. He loved playing classical and flamenco music with his guitar. Greg was also an outdoorsman who was fond of camping, hunting and hiking.

He pursued his higher education at University of British Columbia and achieved his Master’s Degree in Social Work at University of Calgary. He was recognized and awarded with 25 years of service to the Government of Canada initially as Zone Director of Health Canada, First Nations and Inuit Health Branch and later on as an Outreach Program Advisor for Environment Canada.

During his retirement, Greg’s interests in boats and four wheel drive trucks consumed most of his time.

Greg is survived by Terry his brother, Elma his wife, Charles and Angel his step-children, Kaye his step-daughter-in-law and Bibo, whom he proudly coined as his grand dog.
