With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Castro, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, whose unwavering dedication to his family and his love for life left an everlasting mark on all who knew him.

A hardworking and selfless man, Joe poured his energy into providing for his loved ones, ensuring their happiness and well-being always came before his own. His hands, always working, were also the hands that prepared elaborate meals. His passion for cooking brought joy to countless gatherings. Whether in the tranquility of nature, in the company of good friends, or his nose in a book, he found fulfillment in life’s simplest, yet most profound, moments.

His kindness, strength, and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He leaves behind a wife, 5 children and 4 grandchildren. who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on May 21st 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Clare of Assisi in Coquitlam BC. . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Children's Hospital.

Rest in peace Joe, your warmth and generosity will live on in our hearts forever.

A Funeral Mass for Jose will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 2888 Delahaye Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3B 4T5. Following the funeral mass will be a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
