September 30, 1940 – December 30, 2022
It is with great sadness we share that Lyle Edward Amy passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of his large family on December 30, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents William and Lily (nee Brokenshire) Amy and his first wife Helen (nee Williams). This amazing man leaves in his wake so many great memories and lessons on how to live a full and adventurous life. Lyle left his mark on everyone he ever met. His loved ones left behind to cherish the many great times are Susan, his wife, 5 children (Jim Amy, Ken Page (Lenora Page), Rick Page (Gorett Page), Susan Katinic (Nick Katinic), Steve Page (Michelle Page)), 8 grandchildren (Rebecca Page, Elizabeth Page, Isabelle Page, Markan Katinic, Matthew Katinic, Nolan Katinic, Jackson Page, and Sawyer Page), 2 brothers and their families (Sandy (Genevieve) and Brian (Trudy)), and an extensive list of friends and relatives around the world.
We’d like to thank the Fair Haven Homes Burnaby Lodge for their care of Lyle over the past 15 months.
No formal service is planned. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (http://www.alzheimer.ca/) or the Fair Haven Society (https://fairhaven.bc.ca/long-term-care-2/donations/)
May the road rise to meet you;
May the wind be always at your back;
May the sunshine warm upon your face;
May the rains fall softly upon your fields.
Until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.firstmemorialportcoquitlam.com for the Amy family.
