Niesje Blom

The family of Denise Blom are saddened that our Mother, Oma, Aunt, Friend has passed from this life to the arms of her beloved Lord & Savior at her home. She was surrounded by so much love here in this life including her Daughter’s Clara (Tim) & Hedy (Dean). Grandchildren Leila, Kareem, Cameron, Karen (Travis), and great grandchildren, Julia & Sophia, and many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands & Canada. She was predeceased by her Husband of 49 years, Anthony (Tony), and her beloved Son, Hank, and son-in-law, Leo. She will truly be missed for her fierce dedication to her faith, family and friends, as well as her spirited sense of humour. The family sends sincere thanks to all of the staff, volunteers and medical professionals at Elim Village, the Harrison. Each of those kind professionals touched our Mom with such love and kindness as she moved through her dementia journey. A celebration of Mom’s life will be held Saturday, May3rd 2pm at the Oasis in Elim Village, Surrey, BC
