Scott Dennis Barnes

Scott was born in New Westminster, BC on June 22, 1978 and passed away unexpectedly at home on September 25, 2023.

Scottie graduated from Terry Fox High School. He loved playing sports and was still active in volleyball and slowpitch. Unfortunately, he was not able to continue playing soccer due to a knee injury.

On his last day with us, we are comforted knowing he was surrounded by friends, playing in a ball tournament.

As an avid sports fan, you could always find Scottie cheering on the Canucks or the White Caps.

He was loyal, reliable, considerate and funny. He was known for always being the first to jump in and help when needed.

He will be missed by so many.

A special thank you to his co-workers at Noble for their kindness and support through this difficult time.

Scottie was predeceased by his father, Jim. He is lovingly survived by his mother Donna, his brother Cris (Jennifer), his nieces Sophie and Teresa, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is also missed by his new puppy, Bucky.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
