It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Baka. Born August 19, 1938 in Canjevo, Croatia and passed away March 29, 2025 at Buchanan Lodge in New Westminster
She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband Mike of 62 years, son Martin, daughter Mary (Daniel), grandchildren, Melissa (Erwin), Emily, Ryan, Cameron and Liam.
Baka was known for her amazing cooking and delicious baked goods.
She took great pride in her family, always providing support, guidance and unconditional love to her children and grandchildren
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends both near and far.
A special thank you to all the staff at Buchanan Lodge for taking such good care of her. Although she was there for just a short time, she cherished the friendships she made
Memorial service to be held 10:30 am on April 25, 2025 at Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave. Port Coquitlam, followed by a reception then burial at Port Coquitlam Cemetery 4150 Oxford St. Coquitlam
