

Alice Joyce Woodruff, 91, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025. She was born in Scranton, PA, on July 10, 1933. Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Woodruff, parents Leon and Mildred Parisot, siblings, Marge (Jerry) Staley, Shirley Foland (Louie Edwards), Anne Smith, Aline (Ray) Stevens, William (Irene) Parisot, and Carol Broderick.
She is survived by her children, Georgette (Edward) Cron, Robert (Linda) Woodruff, William (Margaret) Woodruff, and Frederick Woodruff, her grandchildren, Wendy Cron, Carly (Todd) Roberts, Nicole (Justin) Scruggs, Sabrina (Eric) Laine, and Amanda Woodruff (Alan Doyle), her great-grandchildren, Layla, Arabella, Jayce, Alison, and Britton, her siblings, Tom (Sally) Parisot, and Sharon Goodwin, and many nieces and nephews.
Alice was an avid New York Yankees fan and shared her love for the team with her granddaughters, husband, sister, and many others. She loved spending time playing card games, gardening, crocheting, and watching old movies. Alice cherished her nightly conversations with her dear friend John Schapel, from Australia. She will be fondly remembered as our loving Grammy.
A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th at 1:30pm at Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest, NY and celebration of life will be held on June 14th at 1:00pm at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church, 728 River Road, Chenango Bridge, NY.
