Bernice M. (Bunny) Caro Sorge

Bernice M. (Bunny) Caro Sorge, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Jon E. Caro; second husband of 30 years, Nicholas P. Sorge; grandson, Adam Caro; brothers and sisters, Frank and George Vough; Fannie Russell; and, Lottie Elliott. She is survived by her children, Dennis and Julie Caro; Bruce and Mary Caro; Roseann and Thomas Shea; Sylvia Caro; step-daughters, Nikki and Gene Jaime; Sandra and Bob Schena; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; special grandson, Nate Caro; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Marjorie Russell. Bernice was a former employee of G.A.F. where she tested color film and did lab work during WW II. Bunny will be remembered for her kind manner and sweet disposition. She was loved by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff of 4A at Bridgewater Center. They would also like to thank the staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital who cared for her during her illness in November.

Private Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you extend a kind word or deed to an elderly person.
