Bruce C. Kauffman

Bruce Carl Kauffman, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Marie & Donald Kauffman, sisters Inez Kauffman and Evelyn & Dan Boerl, niece Sharon Deyo and sister-in-law Janet Betkavsky.

He is survived by his loving wife Jean Kaufman, son & daughter-in-law Michael & Andrea Kauffman; grandson Mattingly Kauffman; brothers-in-law Lee Lattimer and Joseph Betkavsky; sister-in-law Joyce & Jim Gray; nephew Rusty Deyo and many other nieces and nephews.

Bruce was a graduate of the Johnson City High School. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Boxer LPH-4 and served as the director of the USS Boxer Association. Bruce retired from Binghamton University after 35 years of service.

A Private Funeral Service and Burial were held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers those wishing kindly consider donations to a charity of your choice.
