Christina J. Hubbard

Christina J. Hubbard, 64, of Binghamton passed away on Wednesday, August 20 at Willow Point Nursing Home. She is predeceased by her grandmother Hemina “Nanni” Hutar, daughter Emilie Rose Picarsic, and father Loren Hubbard. She is survived by her mother, Millie Hubbard of Binghamton, son Patrick Picarsic of Long Island, and son and daughter-in-law John and Patty Hubbard of Binghamton, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School, class of 1967. She was an employee of the federal government, finishing her career with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) prior to her retirement in 2011. She loved spending her time outdoors, especially when camping with her family on their property in Richford, New York. Above all, Chris was an animal lover who was always willing to help a neighborhood cat in need.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24 at 3:00PM at the William R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00PM until the beginning of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Chris’ name to the Animal Care Council or the Humane Society of Broome County.
