Francis W. Edmondson

Francis W. Edmondson went to Heaven on April 16, 2012. God blessed him with 93 years on this earth. Now he is with his Savior Jesus Christ for eternity. Francis was predeceased by his first wife Marion in 1988. He is survived by his wife Verla, children and their spouses Beverly (Iowa), Elaine (Florida), Mark and Shannon (Johnson City), Ronald and Donna (Sanitaria Springs), Carol and Terry (Johnson City), Janet and Mark (Harpursville) and Verla's daughter & son-in-law Judy and Doug (Vestal); 28 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Francis served in the Army during WWII. He had many talents. He was a sheet metal man by trade, he also loved carpentry, furnace work, gardening and helping others. Later in life, he went on several mission trips to build buildings for Send International. We want to give a special thank you to the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for all the care and love they showed Francis this past year. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chenango Valley Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Baptist Church on Monday April 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
