Jerry Kollar

Gerald "Jerry" Kollar passed away early Sunday Morning February 19th, 2023. He will be remembered for his sparkling Irish Eyes, strength, bravery, and determination to take care of his family and watch his granddaughter, Helayna grow up. Jerry was a simple man who never asked for anything. He enjoyed a day on the boat fishing with his son, Joe, a trip to the casino, watching the Giants play, and enjoying a good game of Jeopardy. Jerry was an avid Driftwood fan, a car show enthusiast, and an impressive history buff. But above all Jerry was an incredible husband to his devoted wife Darlene, father to Joe and Trisha (Alex), proud grandfather to Helayna, loving brother to Joanie Felice and Mary McTague (Bart), son, and uncle. He was also father to Kristen, Karen, and Kathy. He loved his life and his "good boy" Charlie Brown who brought great comfort in the most difficult times. Jerry was a warrior in this life and he will be missed, loved, and remembered forever.

Please join the family of Jerry Kollar on Sunday March 5th from 1pm-4pm for his Celebration of Life at Ransom Steele Tavern. The celebration is open to anyone who would like to attend. Those who sing and/or play, we are welcoming musician friends to bring their instruments to share their gift as we honor our Jerry.
