Kathleen F. “Skippy” Swan, 84, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Florence Buckley; her husband, John Swan; and her brothers, Francis, Robert, and Richard Buckley. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Lori Swan, Port Crane, and Arthur and Monica Swan, Germany; her grandchildren, Michael, Andrea, Christine, and Michelle; and her sister, Elizabeth Walden. Skippy was a devoted wife and mother to her family, a long time member of St. Francis church, and was responsible for founding the Port Crane Civic Association. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Sister Karen Gaube for her many years of companionship and attention to Skippy. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 3, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1031 Chenango St. Binghamton. Burial will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery.
